Artist's statement:
I am an artist whose work is connected to the elements of nature. Organic forms resembling stones and water have long been central themes in my paintings — symbols of stability, yet also of change, and of the invisible energy of tranquility that permeates all things.
Trained in Moscow as a film artist, and having lived in the United States since 2002, I have explored many approaches to painting. While I value the discipline of realism and hyper-realism, it is in abstraction that I find my true language. Through abstract forms I strive to reveal not what is seen, but what is felt — the quiet strength of stone, the endless motion of water, and the timeless dialogue between permanence and transformation.
Life in Texas has brought new depth to this vision. The rolling hills of Central Texas, the quiet creeks with their travertine beds shimmering under sunlight, and the vast open skies continually inspire my work. These landscapes speak to me of resilience and quiet beauty, infusing my paintings with both serenity and energy. ~ Vadim Klevenskiy
