Born in 1951 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design. Studied with artist Mark English, Robert Heindell and Bernie Fuchs "Illustrators Workshop ", Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY. “My dad, Bennie R. Day was a woodcarver and brother, Ben Day was an artist. and university professor teaching design for over 30 years, had a wonderful influence on my love for art. Raised in a creative family, art found me and I embraced it. The exuberant energy I had for art as a child is still within me.”
