Tatyana Klevenskiy was born in 1961 in Yaroslavl, Russia. Her artistic journey began in early childhood, when she received her first lessons in drawing from her grandfather. The flowers in her grandmother’s garden became her earliest subjects—vivid, living inspirations that continue to echo throughout her work.
Tatyana earned a degree in Graphic Design from the Yaroslavl College of Art and later completed a diploma in Costume Design for Feature Films and Television at the Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. During this period, she worked professionally as a costume designer in the film industry. However, her enduring passion for painting eventually led her to focus entirely on fine art.
Since relocating to the United States with her family in 2002, Tatyana has continued to develop her voice as an accomplished painter. Her work is rooted in classical realism, yet infused with a contemporary sensibility. Known for her refined technique and elegant compositions, she imbues each canvas with emotional depth and quiet power. Whether painting ocean waves, shells, or florals, Tatyana’s art reflects a deep reverence for beauty, tradition, and craftsmanship. Her paintings possess a rare ability to evoke serenity, inviting the viewer into a contemplative space filled with harmony, light, and grace.
